“Rockstar and Actor at a Business Conference”

Even after several days there was still enough hype to get things started at the BoxWorks conference in San Francisco. With the company Box enlarging quickly considering the CEO is barely 30 years old, it goes to show the type of friendships a person can make when they have a product and service that even high profiled celebrities such as Jared Leto and Jeffrey Katzenberg, would use. The band, Jimmy Eat World performed at the big closing party, but hopefully Jared Leto’s band Thirty Seconds to Mars plays next year for the yearly two day conference.

Box has grown. For the first three years, the yearly conference was held at the Hilton Union Square in San Francisco and for the fourth year, it was held at Moscone North Convention Center. There were several thousand people in attendance. Unlike most functions held at any of the Moscone Centers, BoxWorks is not a trade show but a business conference. There are sessions and keynotes to sit in during the packed two days.

At the BoxWorks conference, you can see the CEO Aaron Levie just walking around randomly at times, oh, and he likes to party!

[A BIG thanks to Aaron and the rest of the Box team.]
